Planet Eclipse is great, so is Empire and Dye. I would personally recommend P.E pads though.

I like dye pads the most but for the price p.e pads are great. If you have the money for either and you don't know which pads to get you could flip a coin for it and you will be happy either way

Dye: more padding which wraps around the arm better, better fitting IMO, half-glove has some padding for the back of your hand

Planet Eclipse: more venting/sweat-wicking material so they are cooler on hot days, slightly less bulky

Very true. The Dye ones didn't seem to be as cool as opposed to the Eclipse, and, living in arizona, I needed the coolest quality pads.

Not really.  Dye are way better than Empire and the same price.  GI's pads are better than Empire too IMHO.

Empire is something to stay away from with pads. Chck out dye if you have the money, but I personally love my PE's

Doesn't matter what gun you have, how old you are, what paint you shoot, who your up against, how bad of a day you had... All that matters is that your playing paintball now.
