Made a killer chicken and hummus wrap earlier when I got home from a tournament. Would've taken a picture but I was too hungry to care.

Yes, according to Lord Ramsay, if you try to cook a steak stone cold in center, you gots to overcook it on the outside. Well, atleast for steak. :P

Yea, i always pull my steaks out of the fridge, salt and pepper both sides, cover them with plastic wrap and let them sit for 30-45 mins. You get more even cooking, better browning, and more flavor when cooking a room temp piece of meat.

Saw a vid where Lord Ramsay flips his steaks every minute. Bobby Flay or whatever his name is flips it only once. What do you guys do? I flip my steaks like twice.

It depends on the thickness of the steak, and how you like your steak cooked. If its thin enough to where you can get it cooked the way you like while only flipping it once, go for it, but dont be worried about flipping too many times.

The "only flip once" thing you keep hearing is due to people messing with their steaks too much, and not letting them develop a proper crust.

The argument for flipping multiple times is that it allows more even cooking. The rendered fat, and moisture will always flow upwards throughout the meat. Flipping often more or less keeps it stuck in the middle, which leads to more even cooking. The only downfall is ruining the grill marks if you're grilling your steak.

They always took for fucking ever until i started using commercial non stick pans (commercial=cheap as fuck, thin, anodized aluminum), and it sped the process up exponentially.

The Bacon Man's Ghetto Grilled Cheese

Ingredients needed:

 - 2 slices of pleb toast

 - butter

 - 2 American cheese slices

Just make some toast, butter it, put cold Murican singles on it and it tastes amazing.  Will update pics later, but here is a nasty 3/4 eaten pic.

Spoiler
