I always butter both sides and use lid, maybe the cheddar will help and putting the second slice on late.

 

Cheddar will pretty much never get runny, and completely lose its shape...which is coo (and it taste gud). Its a bit harder to melt which is why you leave the top slice off, and lid it for a bit. 

 

Should be good m8.

if you want to help your cheese melt use homemade panini press I use a cast iron skillet then use a pot with a granite mortar inside as a weight

Goood white sauce recipe:

 

tbsp chopped garlic

big pinch of salt, pepper, and parsley

6oz heavy cream

2oz butter

2oz chicken broth

handful of slice mushrooms

 

Let that shit cook down and then add whatever pasta you want. Let pasta heat up then add about a cup of grinded parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and eat.

i was testing colouring techniques for rice crispy squares and made this. took the picture after taking a couple bites. also coloured mini marshmallows actually made it look a lot worse then the plain white ones. ill have final product picture tomorrow. as well as cookies :)

that is true, IF you are using supermarket wet-cured bacon. I personally prefer hardwood smoked dry-cured bacon (I usually get mine from Patak Meats in Georgia by the slab here).

besides if thin cut bacon if used in a sandwich as the primary protein (or at all) it tends to be drowned out by anything else that's put in I only use thin cut if I am going to crush it or chop it into tiny pieces for use in something like a quince, scrambled eggs, or a salad.
