Is it okay to not use a jersey and painball pants?
Ive pretty much always played with nothing but jeans and either a hoodie or a jacket even sometimes only a t-shirt. Is that actually fine? If its grassy i can still slide with jeans. But they do get really worn really fast. I know it probably would be wise to buy a jersey and pants but is it alright to NOT have them ?

Ya, why not? It's like if you're a biker, you don't have to wear biker boots and a leather vest. Wear whatever's comfortable and that works. A jersey is not necessary on unless you're on a team. Pants I find necessary but if you don't find them to be needed, don't blow that $120+ for a pair of pants

And I would recommend getting knee pads first, then elbow pads, THEN pants, of course if you already have a nice mask, hopper, tank etc. etc.

If you have gone this far without getting yelled at for not wearing PB clothing why do you think it will happen in the future. Of course it is ok.

not true, im a unicorn, i dont wear paintball pants and i hang out with dem gods every week.

you can wear whatever you want, it really doesn't matter, if you dont think you need what paintball pants have to offer then don't invest in them :)

It's completely fine, I went out yesterday in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Mind you, once I have the money I'm getting pads, jersey and pants :P But until then, t-shirt and jeans for me.

There are national level teams here whose players play events in cargo pants so you're fine as long as you have elbow and knee pads and slider shorts.

its absolutely fine, people have done it for decades and it hasn't changed at all. When I was a "newb" I wore jeans with my Wrestling knee pads.. as long as your having fun that's all that matters.
