So i picked up a droid as a back up to my g6r, still haven't had a chance to use it, but I wanted to know if any one has any experience w it. How good is it? Whats the efficiency like? Just from dry firring it i know already i hate the grips n trigger, any way to adjust this trigger to make it a lil more "springy" for semi? Any info would b great.

Does it have a gold bolt?/  Droids are super smooth/quiet and as for the trigger you might want to check out getting a Violent or Critical trigger if you play semi very frequently.

They are awesome guns. Very efficient for a spool, super smooth, and very quiet. Macdev makes awesome guns. They never break paint and are always reliable if you maintain them right.

Not to sound rude or anything but you bought a paintball gun without doing some research?

I think you might be able to get the g6r grips on the droid but don't quote me on this because I'm not sure

Wait, I was thinking of the wrong gun sorry. I doubt the g6r grips will work. I think older dye grips work

No problem, also look at stinger sports. They make droid grips

The clone gt grips should fit.

According to Aggressive Sports (MacDev's customer support in the US) the new grips on fit the Clone(s), Drone and Cyborg RX.

Aggressive Sports never mentions the Droid as a gun for their spare parts anymore. It's weird. But considering the Droid's grips have always been interchangeable with those guns, I'm sure the Gt grips will work.

I thought I remembered hearing that the dimensions of the Droids frame is different and the new grips (GTi) won't fit because the Droid's frame appears the same size/shape but is actually different.
