If they were to make an Axe 2 what would you prefer they changed?
You can say one thing or multiple things

For me, a "Vanquish-style" front grip would be great.

Buy one of these if you want a cheap but nice electro!!!

same here. a front grip that doesn't feel stupid. i want better manufacturing, just felt.. cheap. having Taiwan stamped on it didn't make me feel better either. a hard case that comes with it..

some actual milling that looks good. not just the what, 3 lines they have on the back of it now? two piece longer barrel. empire should bore that barrel back out for inserts and have it ship with one. sell others and make $$$

the axe does have a user serviceable reg.

Well a fully user serviceable reg where you don't need special tools to take it apart and it won't void your warranty

i get it to. but it doesn't mean it's really a special tool. just because you don't have it doesn't make it special. if you're going to take something apart (for me it's knives) and go to put an allen key in the hole and see "wait, that doesn't fit an allen key!" it's a torx bit. doesn't mean it's a special tool, just means i need a tool other than i have. unless it's a microtech.. then those screws are 100% proprietary and you need tp buy the bits from microtech. i'm sure somewhere at some store you can find a tool to fit the axe reg.

Well ya I get that but to take the brass piece out you need a tool with two prongs on the ends. You can't really use it for anything other than that piece so it is a special tool

I would pay more for these upgrades because then it will be like an actual highend with normal ergos and a serviceable reg for much cheaper than a highend. The axe shoots great, it jus needs some refinements and I would pay mor for those refinements

I expect it to be more of a high end, around $1000, so the kee will have $300 mini, $500 axe, $800 le pdd/CF axe, $1000 axe 2 and $1500 vanquish

Buy one of these if you want a cheap but nice electro!!!

exactly. i can appreciate the axe for what it is, especially for the price they're selling it at. but when i held one i could tell that they cut corners on costs associated with manufacturing to get it to you at that price. i would pay the higher price if it meant getting a better marker.

They already have the LE PDD and Carbon Fiber Axes.  I would imagine if they made an "Axe 2" it would fully replace the Axe and fill the same price slot.

Sounds good, the only thing I would need to see if it was the sane price paint is, better milling so its lighter and a vanquish type front grip which would give better egros and would double as giving it less weight

They need to put a column style regulator on the front instead of the weird block that is on now. It could also use some rubber on the back of the frame.

Lower the stock feedneck, and fix the goofy foregrip and thats it. Axe is nearly paintballs "perfect" gun...  Everything about it is awesome except a few minor tweaks. especially with a Boss bolt(infamous or XSV) they are really amazing guns for what you pay for... you could shoot an axe from a Recreational level all the way up to a very demanding tournament level and it just will work everytime air is put through it.

It's serviceable but a total piss on, it should be easier and not void the warranty.

i guess that's just the downside to having an ASA / regulator two in one.

i wonder if it would be possible to re-design it to have everything come out the front, not the inside of the ASA threads. like take a crescent wrench and unscrew a cap and everyting just drops out.

2 piece 14+ inch barrel, better ergos, slimmer eye covers, lower feedneck (nano feedneck), 4 eyes capability, more aggressive milling (preference). Just about everything else was pretty nice.

Lets be realistic here.

Normal Axe 2:
- vanquish styled grip, with shockwave or new led board
- PE style case
- feedneck on the CF, and vicious axes
- slimmer detent
- resurrection barrel, .690 back only
- $50-100 more than current Axe price, drops after a few hundred sells

Pro Edition
- same as above
-OLED with pressure transducer
- super freak kit

Really to sell the gun all they have to do is have a good public image. The most popular guns aren't usually that great but are backed by big companies with a good image, people don't know what they are buying, they just see the name.

Yeah, cause a $1500 ugly remake of a gun that's already out and loved isn't them just trying to make money in the cheapest and easiest way possible.

Also, the reason the Axe is so cheap is because it is still perceived as a bigger Mini, so they couldn't jump the price that much. If the Axe was the first of its line, I guarantee you it would have been more expensive to begin with.

i can agree with that, especially on the ugly part. but from what i've seen with their soft goods, they're worth way more than they charge for them, same with their loaders. and when you phone them it's like they try to send you stuff for free. plus the whole Taiwan thing,

Yea the only reason why I didn't say delrin bolt and poppet was because those newer players and people that don't take care of their gats would flip shit if thier markers didn't magically work most of time without maintenance and tuning

You think they are going to make another axe. pls. look how many years the mini stayed the exact same with minor bug changes. They made it more reliable and easier to use but didn't change anything else

well an axe isn't a mini, now is it?

barely changing anything didn't stop Dye from creating and continuing a line or markers. and since empire has already slightly "copied" a company recently with their newest design, what would stop them from doing something else?

no.
No dm has better board solenoid and lpr. Yes only real difference is the board and slight efficiency difference.
No, solid metal unlike Lt and has oled different solenoid and different ported barrel.
No, eXTCy has plastic grips and a frame similar to the ion. Has a longer barrel and a better board but you have to take the grip off to change modes.
Sorry it took me so long to reply I was busy.

so then an axe isn't a mini because it has a tool-less bolt, on/off ASA, microswitch trigger, longer distance between board and grip, and a bigger trigger guard, different body milling, and a different name.

Its a larger mini. That's all. They have foregrip extenders relays back caps all that crap. And shit, if I really wanted to. I could call it an axe.
