Because if i choose a high price for me, I'd go with the jt proflex

if i choose to go inexpensive I choose a mask $30 and under

It depends on how the mask can change my game?

A mask could change your game a lot. A highend mask will have nicer foam, nicer lenses, better breathability, and better comfort than low end masks as well as being more fog proof. I would reccomended NEVER cheating out on a mask.

Go to your proshop. Try on every mask and buy the one that feels the best, don't even look at the price tag.

Masks are just one of those things that could really change your game and you really get what you pay for

Ignore the price tag and buy the mask you like the most, the mask is easily the most important part of your setup, and will last a long time so you don't lose out by spending alot.

I'm guessing you live somewhere in SoCal, and if so there are dozens of paintball stores there. Just google paintball store near (your zip code here) and boom!

I know theres Bellflower Paintball, Time 2 Paintball, and a couple other ones near HSP. But HSP doesn't have that big of a shop.

^ How? Any proshop will carry most if not all masks. There is no reason to go and spend the extra $10 in gas to drive to ansgear rather than critical paintball since they will both carry the EXACT SAME STUFF...

It like buying shoes. Buy what's comfortable. Cheap shoes are never a money saver.

You need it to have certain features but mostly thermo lens. I like yellow lens also.

You get what you pay for... And paintball is a perfect sport for that... You dont want a 20 dollah mask crapping out in the middle of a game. Or getting hit in the face by some dick who shooting 400+fps and break your face. And you go blind.. The mask os somethin you should alwasy do reserch for and spend the most for

^ you won't break your face... Fields make you regulate your markers and youll get pulled out faster than those damn ninjas that keep posting before me on a new thread... Plus masks are all able to hold up to the same amount of force. A dye i4 and a Walmart mask will all hold up the same (as in terms of getting shot at)

Lenses wont break no matter how cheap they are if they are bought from a name brand company. All the lenses need to pass a specific breaking requirement which is really high that a marker's fps is not likely to shoot so I suggest you stop throwing around false accusations. Field masks cost the field $15 to $20 and you never see them crack in the middle of a game.

Dont taken it so literally... Its about feel and how it fogs up. You dont wanna go out on the field and get fogs up every 2 mins you can only shoot at what you see. I remeber i was fogged up supppper bad once.. Was a sitting duck in the feild. Luckly my team manage to pull off a win.

Note to anyone on here. DO NOT TRY TO EMULATE EARLY OC. Recent OC is not nearly as bad as his early days.

Look at Proflexes. Other than the lense change system they shit the dick on just about everything else.

OC... saying someone is posting lik you were just a few weeks ago is an insult to them.... even if they are a post whore like this lacrosse kid seems to be...

to the OP... as its been said before, you pay for what you get... a quality mask, or lack there of, can make or break you day of paintball... by spending money for a good mask that fits your head you are eliminating something you will have to upgrade later on, and saving you money
