Wow, I heard an pretty amazing story
A girl in Ft Lauderdale (who will remain unnamed) graduated from with a 4 year degree from a college down in Ft Lauderdale or Miami.
Let me explain-
Student Loan debt is NOT bankruptcy dischargeable. In some circles, some people agree that Student Loan debt, is actually MORE toxic to your future than IRS TAx debt. At least in SOME cases, you can get the IRS to reduce penalties, reduce tax debt, etc
This never happens in Student Loan situations. If you become a vegetable from a car accident, and are laying in a coma, student loan companies will still attempt to garnish your bank accounts and levy assets.
It does not matter what happens in your life, the ONLY way to get rid of student loan debt is to die, or to pay it off... PERIOD
I heard a story out of Ft Lauderdale that a girl was about $65,000 in student loan debt. She built up her credit through college, and after college, and was able to use her credit cards to pay off the student loan debt. She used a combination of credit card checks, cash advances, and other things.
After about a year or two AFTER she paid off her student loan debt with her credit cards, she was laid off. She then used this opportunity to declare bankruptcy, discharged all of her debt in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy....
She is now completely free of both her credit card debt, AND her student loan debt.
One of the smartest things I've EVER heard someone do........
