Which of these loaders are better? I have a Invert Too right now but I'm looking for something easier to take apart. The things I'm looking for are: to feed consistently, to not jam, to feed mid-grade paint, and to look sexy ;) List your opinions below!

Also, which hopper would look better with an Empire Axe? What about a MacDev Drone DX? Thanks again for your opinions.

I have the prophecy v1, it comes apart in 3 main sections.  I think the Rotor is better design for ease of maintenance.  The Prophecy can be put back together wrong and cause jams.  The rotors top half comes off, the prophecy splits in half in left and right sides.  Prophecy does have a rip drive though.

Do you have trouble with the Prophecy coming apart or the motor burning out? I've heard of it coming apart because it got shot, I even saw it happen.

Nope. I've had mine a number of years and no issues. It's been flawless. It's been hit a bunch of times in the hopper without concern.

I have a HALO B V35 as well for backup/friends.

z2 is harder to take apart but won't jam as much as the rotor, looms are preference and they will both feed consistently unless they jam, but like I said the z2 jams less because of the auto unjam feature. The rotor might jam more but you have the unjam fin.

Buy one of these if you want a cheap but nice electro!!!

Go with the rotor you can't go wrong with it it's a loader that is extremely durable you can do anything to it on the field and it can take it. Also if you get the newer versions from like 2011 and up they come with shark fin paddle which will not really let your rotor jam. I got mine used for 60 and it looked brand new it came with the shark fin and its only jammed 2 on me in the almost 2 years of owning it

No, not really. The issue is people not using good batteries or screwing with the settigs instead of contacting Virtue if theyre having issues.

I loved my Z2 so much, but it's let me down about 5 times now, 5 times this thing has went down and had to be sent back to Empire, and the thing is I don't even use it much, it's a back up loader to my Rotor, which hasn't let me down since the day I bought it.

What problems have you had? I have the original prophecy and its been flawless. It jammed one time during a game so I dumped the paint used the rip drive to clear it- it was bad paint. I found a few other rounds that were jacked as well(old paint... Don't use it!). I love the hopper and have never had to switch to my back-up Halo B.

I would still recommend the rotor over it plainly for simplicity. You can put the Prophecy back together wrong and it will ruin your day. They Dye is much easier to pull apart and put back together, much less chance for user error.

Oh buddy! You're gonna love this!

1. Glitched board (first batches of z2's had them)

2. Empire shipped me a new one which... Didn't work

3. Empire repaired it and it worked until...

4. It caught fire.

5. Motor wouldn't work properly.

Now it's fine because it has a new board, and motor. The only reason i want to sell it is because I need le money for le DM

Its all personal preference. Buying new go with the Spire otherwise used its between the Rotor and Z2. The Rotor is easier to take apart and put back together but the Z2 has auto-unjam if you get a jam.

IMO the Spire combines the best features of each.

From my personal use of the rotor, I have had it for 2 years and had no jam at all. BUT if you are using old paintballs then most likely it would jam on you. The z2 I have heard good things about. All about personal preference. :D

Used Z2's typically go for around $80-100 depending on condition. Rotors on the other hand tend to hold their value insanely well and can be anywhere from $80-130 or more. If you find a Rotor in good condition between 80 and 95 it's probably a good steal.

i had a problem with my z2 today for some odd reason when i hooked it up to my gun it would only feed in intervals of 6 or 7 before id have to press the unjam switch to get it to feed again. i played around with it when i got home and changed the sound sensitivity and that seemed to work and now it works flawlessly. both loaders are outstanding and you really cant go wrong with either.

That's a bit of a toss up. Majority of Z2's and Rotors work just fine but then there's always that possibility that you could get a lemon. The only way that the Z2's settings would really affect reliability is if you didn't know what you were doing and set it incorrectly.

I would say the rotor because one of my teammates used his z2 and dove into the snake, when he hit, his speed feed flipped open dumping half his paint, and one of his own paintballs broke inside his hopper. There are some weird ridges inside the z2. The ball broke on one of those. Then when he switched back to his rotor, never had that issue the next game going to the same exact bunker. So rotor for me.

The rotor is a wonderful loader, I had a few hoppers before and eventually I just broke down and shelled out the cash for the rotor. It's very "set-it-and-forget-it" no settings to play with just hit the button and it's feeding paint.  Haha, in my mind it's just one less thing to think about

it really just gets down to which do you think looks cooler. they both cost the same new. and they both feed paint beyond what your gun can shoot. personally i like the rotor because its easier to take apart and clean. plus i like the color options :)

ps  rotors on axes are sexy. but if you want something different from everyone else. just get a spire...

Rotor all the way my Z2 broke on me a lot so I just sold it to kid at my field.  The rotor jammed on me once becuase I was using 5 year old brass eagle paint when me and my friends went to my field on BYOP day.

It's strange, there are visual similarities between them. And when I see them side by side, I can't help but think of the Mustang. Especially in the 90's. You look at the last great Mustang before the 2013

s and you see a beautiful car. http://static.cargur...8005628065.jpeg Sleek, streamlined and sexy. Then Ford went and redesigned everything in 1999 and gave us this angluar atrocity. http://ts2.mm.bing.n...8779273&pid=1.7 Similar is size, shape and build, but just ugly. This is where my mind goes on these loaders.
