I just got a DM10 but my only tank is a Ninja 48/3000. It has two shims and works perfectly with my 98. How should I adjust it for the DM?

No, you can leave the reg as it is.

Don't worry about adjusting your reg to a lower pressure unless its a macro-less marker or unless it specifically says in the manual to use a lower pressure

Only macroless markers that "should" use low pressure are the bob long guns. Everything else is fine. l2macroless bob long

Many macroless markers like low-mid pressure

The mechanics of how the guns work don't care what output the tank reg is at. Some companies recommend lower output regs because they designed sub-standard seal points that leak and/or are damaged by higher pressure inputs from the tank. But as far as gun performance goes, it makes no difference.

Well that was my point. Not that theylle perform any better or worse, but many macroless markers like lower pressure to put less stress on the seals

Which is what I said, almost every macroless gun works fine on standard 800 psi, bob long is one of the only ones requiring low pressure because of phail design.

Oh that's my bad, I took it as you saying you shouldn't use anything but 800 psi on any macroless marker except for bob long.

It was a case of misunderstanding but lets get back on topic.

OP: you don't have to adjust your reg

No, you should leave it where its current output is. The DM will not care.

What you should do is invest in a 68/4500 tank, you wont be doing much shooting off of a little stealie like the one you have DMs are gas hogs it would be worthwhile in the long run to get a nice tank. Also I have owned a LOT of different markers as well as several G6rs and Victories. I always ran LP on anything BL as for the DM I owned I used a standard output reg on her just fine.
