I liked the Azodin ZII as it is awesome but that is only if I were buying New. Used I would buy the vice axe or an older dm like dm9 all which could be found around 300 dollars :D

Markers:G6r/ Protege/ Nt10/ Azodin Kaos Pump LE/ Invert Mini/ Dangerous Power g4/ Proto slg 09

The Azodin ZII is a steal. You cant go wrong with an oled screen. You can also look up the GoG extcy ,Empire Axe or Planet Eclipse Etha.

Actually yes you can, the Axe will blow it out of the water and it does not come with an OLED screen you don't NEED an OLED screen but you need a good firing design.

I had the OLED screen crap out on my cheap gun after it sat for 2 years. I agree completely. You don't need them. A blinking LED is more reliable.

Like Jurzy said you can get a used Axe for that money. I'm after one myself. Its very efficient by design and has one of the best triggers on the market. A few guys I play with regularly have Axe's/Mini's and I was impressed with the sound(very quiet) and efficiency.

I have a DP G4 and my only complaint is the efficiency. Otherwise it's a decent enough gun.

G5.. it is macroless and very reliable.... make sure you tank output is set from 650 to 500... that is the only thing you need to be careful about with that gun... also... you get to use it knowing all of its history and repairs because its in your price range new... this gun is a steal...

P.S. I own a G4 (works perfectly) , my friend has owned a G5 since a month after release... it has never gone down... Get the G5 for sure....

From Bob Long you have the Marq's, Vice, and Protege.

From Planet Eclipse you have the Etha.

From Dye you can get a Dm6-8.

Or an Axe.

Never underestimate the power of buying a used marker. It's kind of like buying a brand new corvette or a used Ferrari. The Ferrari will always perform better.

I kind of like neck shots, they give other people the impression that I have a social life.

Eventually, after probably your second to third marker purchase, you realize that it's no big deal and you could have saved hundreds going used. However, I do understand your passion for being the first and only person to open the package and holding a fresh, untouched marker, yours to manipulate and dirty up.

I was looking into getting the sly profits on ansgear.com. Do you know if they are a good mask?

They are good, but they don't breathe as well as others, I have the grillz and I love them, they don't fog up on me and I live in a very humid place where it's hot even in winter

The g5 is probably the best marker in that price range. I've had one since it came out and had no problems it's all the user and how you maintain the marker. And to those dp haters who say it leaks, all guns leak not just dp guns.
But it's all your choice used ego or etek one properly tuned they shoot great , just as another modern ego.
Used bob long marq, intimidator series they shoot great.
Maybe even an autococker sr.
But please stay away from the mini, horrible board, stock barrel could be better, the Asa is not the best.
Save yourself the trouble and get a g5!

Autococker SR is bad advice. You can't get parts for them and they are garbage.

Mini v3 is good. Axe is better. Nothing wrong with Eteks or DM's.

I have no experience with the G5 but I still really like my G4.

On/off ASA doesn't work, can't get parts for them. OLED screen is garbage. They work great when they work and are pretty efficient but lack of parts makes it pretty much a no go.

If you really don't have much money, say $300 or less, it is best to go with a gun you KNOW is gonna work. Just a little input with my experience, I have a G4 that works great but it's definitely a hit or miss gun. Some peoples G4's leak right out of the box and have other issues. Too many people hate on DP because of the G series but it's not that bad. Used G4's can be found for around 200 which gives you enough money to upgrade the bolt and the gun will shoot great

ZII is my favorite of the ones discussed. Everything is serviceable, & easy to do so at that, shot quality is decent, pretty nice trigger, & on/off Asa. Great company support wise behind it too. Not sure on the reliability of the oled, however. Also comes with a 2 piece barrel & an oled.
