I currently play soccer for my school. That's it. But I play paintball on weekends blah blah blah. So my friends keep telling me to try out for lacrosse, and I really want to. But I also think I want to start football. Yes, I know #firstworldproblems.

But should I find a way to play all three? Or should I pick two?

Just an FYI, oddly enough my grades go UP during soccer season.

Don't burn yourself out by trying to do too many things at once.

So many of my friends did that in high school and they got real stressed out because of it.

Depends. Check your scheduling. Ask when games are. Prioritize and pick accordingly. I played football for this semester, while playing club soccer at night while still having time to do paintball on weekends. However, due to scheduling, I couldn't do basketball.

Try it out, both are pretty fun. Your school has soccer and football in separate seasons?

Oh ok...  If you have not missed the window, join football. I'm guessing you would be a cornerback/reciever because you play soccer. Do you have any football experience, with or without pads?

I'm gonna play senior year, too late for this year. I'll likely end up playing corner or kicker. I've played tackle with some friends but I've never played in a league. I did however play flag. And I was one hell of a flag player. :3

Also I can get a soccer ball through the posts at the 35 yard line. So I think I'd make a decent kicker.

Don't be too sure of yourself. Be that guy to prove me wrong, but IMO kicking a football 35 yards accurately vs kicking a soccer ball 35 yards accurately are 2 very different things. A football is much harder to well. I say you should be a corner, maybe a tightend, but mostly corner. I play football in the fall (practice is also all summer), I play basketball in the winter, I take a break for winter 2 and just lift every day, and then I play lacrosse for the spring. It works great for me.

Yeah, most likely a corner.

Yeah I'm lifting winter and spring this year. My football is also all summer. I plan on taking fitness as serious as practice does, so I will also be sprinting 3-4 times a week. If I do this all off season I should be one hell of a player.

I've kicked a football before. Its much easier to get distance on a football.

What about accuracy and height? Not saying you can't kick a football because I don't know for sure, IMO (I used to be on a soccer team) kicking a soccer ball is WAY easier than kicking a football but to each his own
