I thought I'd make a rant about this because its something that kinda annoys me, and really is no good for the companies that do this e.g. Bob Long.
The simple fact is, that most people in the U.K. don't care that is made in the U.K., among my friends most of them think Americans are fat and stupid. I don't hold that opinion myself that's a fairly normal opinion of the U.S. in the U.K. If you held that opinion, would you want a product made by that sort of person? One of my friends said he'd rather have something made in the Far East than in America.
Also, while in the U.S. the tag "made in the U.S." means that it is supporting American workers, which is great if you're American, but does nothing if you live in the U.K.
It does however work both ways, as Planet Eclipse advertise, at least in the U.K. at any rate, that their products are made in the U.K. I'm sure that if you live in the U.S. you don't really care that it is made in the U.K. I mean why care about workers that are living over 3000 miles across one of the world's biggest oceans.
So, this concludes my fairly pointless rant. I hope you semi-enjoyed it at least, and that you understand what I said (and I do not hold the stereotype that many of my friends have.
