I was just wondering what would be a nice poppet marker for under $300 dollars. A used Etek 3 seems nice, but I'm not sure. And what about the Azodin Blitz EVO and Azodin Zenith II? I'm not too sure about Azodin, but I'm pretty open. I'm not really into spoolies so the poppet part is important to me. Thanks!

You can probably find a Etek 3 in the B/S/T or ebay if not.

For poppits at that price point, I like timmies: Vice, Protege, or gen 3s. (I have no experience with gen 4 timmies, so I can't offer an opinion there.)

I would take an etek in that price range.

Okay, thanks for all the help. I'm probably gonna get the Etek, it seems like a sick gun!

get an axe, find a 2nd hand used one thats beat up a little, you'll be looking at like 325 for an axe thats been beat a little. it'll be easier to get an axe than a vice. i mean not like finding an axe is hard but you'll find more axes than vices or at least thats been the case when ive looked for them.

I've been loving my alias since I've put it together. Shoots pretty darn smooth and quiet for a poppet. Having owned 3 eteks in the past I'd also say that I'd much rather have an intimidator than an etek.

They may be older and a bit larger, but they shoot much better imo.

The etek will be very reliable though, you can treat them like crap and they'll still work fine. So if you want something you'll hardly ever have to worry about the etek wouldn't be a bad choice.

I second this choice on Intimidators.  They are the best markers I have ever shot and used.  Plus you can find a alias around $200 and they are bullet proof, if you ever have an issue just send it to Bob Long and they can have it easily taken care of.  Best customer support in the business.
