Dog ate paintball

I didn't really no where else to post this but my dog ate a paintball and apparently this is bad for him is this true?

How many did he eat? Paintballs aren't toxic, so its not like he is going to die from eating one. We have cows that roam our fields during the week when we are close and they eat tons of them and have no problems...

If he only ate a few he would be perfectly fine. If he ate a full bag he may get an upset stomach.

Hey your dog just ate some really bad tasting gelitin and food dye. but yeah he should be fine.

I wouldn't worry about it.
When my hound was a puppy, She got into a bag of Glow-In-The-Dark paintballs and ate like 30 of them.

My daughter spent the next three nights in the backyard with a flashlight to see if the poops would glow.
They didn't.

The main ingredient inside a paintball is Polyethylene Glycol.
It's also the main ingredient in Maalox antacid sold in drugstores.

It's not common for them to cause such a strong reaction, but some dogs can develop symptoms after a handful, some can eat a bag and be ok next day:
