Ah, gotcha. I've actually found that the Splatmaster .50 paint that was designed for the Splatmaster guns is the most brittle, on par with what I would consider tournament grade shells from normal .68 paint.

I'm talking about the Splatmaster paint. You can shoot Splatmaster paint out of any .50 caliber paintball gun. It was designed to be used in the Splatmaster paintball guns, which is why the shell is so brittle, because it has to break at 120fps.

Here they are being shot out of my .50 Impulse.

Or you can buy one, more expensive marker that can do both. If you don't already have an established .68 setup, do not go out and buy a .50 cal setup to use as a primary.

Also, Splatmaster paint is great to use in .50 cal guns, because it's easily accessible, relatively cheap, and because it's designed to break at 120fps, it will have no problem breaking at full velocity.

Yep just get an etek 3 with 50 cal kit and call it day. Or just skip 50 cal all together

Then just buy an enmey. I don't know why you want a solid marker that is a bit loud but whatever.

I've heard rumors of a 50 cal kit for the enmey, regardless the enemy is a solid pickup if you are not going to shoot electro, which from the sounds of you seems financially irresponsible to buy an electro and rip a case a day

The Etek may be loud, but you'll be turning the pressure down a bit when you shoot the .50 paintballs, so it will be much more quiet than when you're shooting the .68 paint.

Then buy premium paint. Splatmaster paint is super brittle, and on the 68 side anything advance or tourney grade breaks.

You don't need a 50 cal kit to shoot good brittle paint, hell I was shooting the enmey with evil and that shit be brittle. The axe the last time I used evil didn't pop a ball while I mowing people and winning points. Hell even a used extcy will do you good
