Decided to play with my DM10 today, I had bought it used and shot it twice, and it was great, but I noticed it was leaking. So I started to panic. Finally figured out that it was the LPR. Look at the condition of the LPR oring.

The problem is that the parts kit that comes with the DM doesn't have a replacement oring.

Never buy a gun without having the rudimentary parts needed to fix it.

I thought that I could get away with just the Orings in the parts kit until December, the real problem is that the previous owner sent me a gun with a faulty oring.

I checked the oring before I fired the marker, it was broken when I received it, but the marker didn't leak until today. My fault for not ordering a new one.

You say the gun was not initially leaking, but that he knew the o-ring was bad. If the gun was not leaking when he sent it, then he would not know how bad it was.

If you looked into the LPR cap, you could see part of the oring shredding. He may not have known, but I'd assume he would've looked at his LPR before he sold his gun.

so your field is completely barren of o-rings, no one has any there at all? no pro shop or anything? nobody you may happen to know would be there and have possession of a circular piece of rubber in the required size?

I still own this gun. As it arrived, the bolt system/breech contained the paint of like 2 full paintballs.  The eyes were broken (ribbon partially severed). Being as the entire internals were coated in paint, so was the trigger, some of the board, etc.

A couple o-rings were in the condition as the one pictured on your LPR. I don't know how it was even used in this condition, but this is how it shipped to me "clean, teched, and ready to go". This kind of shit happens.

Sure, you leave negative ebay feedback or whatever when it does, but you man up and fix the thing. You don't make a big bitch thread about ONE o-ring. If you don't know what is wrong, the forum is a great place to post (dare I say) questions.

I have a better solution, save money don't go tomorrow and you don't have to use a 98 custom.

MIND BLOWN WITH TOO MUCH INTELLIGENT INPUT

And while you are at home you can order a rebuild kit.

Go to a paintball store to get a single oring or call the field and ask if they have any orings. It doesnt have to be a fancy colored dye oring.

That sucks man. Its why I went to oringmonkey and bought an oring rebuild kit for my Demon.

Now I have to pay 8 dollar shipping for a .25 cent oring. And I have to use my 98 custom tomorrow....
I have to use a 98 every time I play.
But do you own a better marker?
No, it sucks.
This is exactly what marketing guns has come down too. a dick waving contest. You can say all the stuff you want but until you whip it out wave it around and prove it to the world everyone will doubt you. -bigx

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to have some fun with a Tippmann rather than play the doorbell version of paintball that an electro grants.

And this from someone never to be confused with a Tippmann fan lol. I have played airball with one and can honestly say it was an enjoyable day. People get embarrassed when you kill them with it.

Yeah, it's really hard to kill someone with a paintball gun.

Go to a paintball store to get a single oring or call the field and ask if they have any orings. It doesnt have to be a fancy colored dye oring.

Read my earlier post. Hurr durr.

No, it sucks.

Then why the fuck do you care whether or not the DM14 has an OLED or not? You obviously aren't going to buy a highend...

Anyway, it's not a huge inconvenience to you because you don't have a better option, my better option went down.

It wasn't leaking

He knew.

How?

Explain?

You say the gun was not initially leaking, but that he knew the o-ring was bad. If the gun was not leaking when he sent it, then he would not know how bad it was.

If you looked into the LPR cap, you could see part of the oring shredding. He may not have known, but I'd assume he would've looked at his LPR before he sold his gun.

because if it didn't leak when he last used it or aired it up that means that he should double check every single o ring just incase? please. if you air it up and it fires, and nothing leaks, what makes you assume something is going to be wrong that you'll check ever damn ring. you're buying it 2nd hand used, don't make a giant deal about it because its not like you bought the damn thing new. trying to blame it on the guy you bought it from over one single o ring that blew is stupid. " the dangers of the nation BST" oh the horror! oh the pain! an o ring went out! The guy knew! he knew i tell ya! hes out to take yer money and skip town i say! also buying 1 o ring is stupid, by a whole o ring kit off oringmonkey or something. the shipping is going to cost the same or close to it. why not make the most and buy every o ring you'll need for the dm at once.
