My vote goes drone because of ergos, but if you like axes ergos, put a boss or lurker bolt and axe is better
If you are under 18 and pay for your gear put this in your sig

I'd get the Axe. The Drone trigger blows and the board didn't even have true PSP 3 shot ramping last I knew.

Axe, better trigger.

Honestly, just get out a shoot a few marker and that will tell what you should buy or not buy.

Ask someone at your field that has one to shoot it and if they like it, simple.
This is exactly what marketing guns has come down too. a dick waving contest. You can say all the stuff you want but until you whip it out wave it around and prove it to the world everyone will doubt you. -bigx

I have a drone, granted i got mine 2nd hand that has clone grips, and a violent trigger already in it. I can say i love my drone, shoots great, feels nice, not a big fan of the screw in on/off they use but it doesn't bother me a lot. If you quad mod it, you can get 9 almost 10 pods out of it or so i hear, which is stupidly good for a mid end spool. spool engine is basically what you get from geo series, and the g3 from dangerous power back when the markers were good as well. PSP has been fixed however it never bothered me since every field i go to is semi only. never been a fan of the axe. its good but the overly hyped praise is just fanboyism. both are very very very solid and an even better deals if you buy them used. whichever one you go with, it'll be an excellent choice.

I'd say axe. From what I hear DX's aren't as durable as Axe's.

Why do you guys vote more on the Drone dx over the axe? People say the axe is more tournament because the pro has some upgrades so the axe itself should be really good. but the Drone dx it is at its price point and i dont know to much about it. So i just want to know why the drone dx is better than the axe?

Axe all the way.  Me and my friend used drones at one time and the trigger is very bad for this gun.  It isn't very consistant and little to no upgrades on it.  The Axe is a pro level gun at a cheap price, Empire did that on purpose.  The Axe is very consistant and has one of the best triggers, so go with the Axe.

I respectfully believe you have no idea what you're talking about. First MacDev regs are very consistent, and the Drone has trigger and board upgrades available. Not that having the optiin for upgrades even makes a marker better. The Axe is a "pro level" marker because Empires sponsored teams were told to use it.

exactly. if azodin decided to sponsor a team and gave them a blitz, that's what they'd play with because it's part of the contract. "pro" guns are just a myth. they just seem to be "pro" because it's usually the top of the line of that company.

But wait isnt the axe supposed to be really good because the axe pro only has upgrades, so doesnt that mean that the gun itself is pretty good. And what makes the drone dx better?

Drone if you can get past the trigger and grips. But I've seen geo3's on ebay go for $450-600ish if you can buy used.

Well there are drone DX vs axe threads if you are that interested...

Let me put it this way, if I'm still with the axe platform after 3 axes I like mine. I've tried the drone before and I felt it wasn't my flavour.

Dude it's really personal preference, you would to either home and shoot both or buy an axe shoot that, if you don't like trade for a drone.

This is not rocket science
