Okay here's my input,
WARNING: Like all workout, body building, muscle building or membran enlargment/enchancement advice, this is purely one of the many "Buts" and one of the many "Also's" nobody is right, and nobody is really wrong. Take what works for you, and build on that.
I'm going to break down "working out" to probably what your trying to do: Improve your Ability Perform.
That is going to come is different forms,
-> Strength, (Explosive movements, quick body action, and essentially, your "Driving" muscles)
-> Endurence, Doing that explosive movement 10 second's after you Just sprinted 30 feet, Your ability to recouperate in brief moments between rests, and your ability to keep your body under control in different situations
->Stability (Tons of people forget all about this one) Everyone seems to focus on the big muscle groups, however they quickly forget about the hundreds of stabilization muscles in your body to keep you going)
Generally you can work all 3 at the same time for most things you do. Getting better at something usually means somewhat of a combination of those three. Hell even walking at one point will touch on "working out" I invite you to try to work in "stretching" and Treat a "Stretching" day as important, and as seriously as your regular work out. Search up some basic yoga poses, search up some basic movements, and try to remember, 3 or 4 of them. Nothing crazy, nothing silly. Put yourself into a yoga pose and hold it for 3 minutes. once you get comfortable, try putting 1 or 2 more in. People think stretching is for lady-men with no beards to back up. They are dead wrong, Musclar balance is incredibly crutial for getting stronger, building more muscle and becoming that bad ass inside yourself. Think of it like a multiplier in a game, are you balanced? x2 Score... If you are unbalanced, NO BONUS FOR YOU!
your work outs should build on themselves, and expect NOTHING to change in the first 4 weeks, seriously at the end of this month you should feel pretty much the same. and thats alright, nobody gets suddenly better after 4 weeks, not after 8, or even 12.
As a floating bar, This time next year Is your mark that you are trying to beat. Not in 3 months, or 5 (Yes you Will progress. But remind youself changes are made in little steps, and take time.)
Anyways, I'll leave this at that. if you have any questions we here.
