Hi there,

My friend has a spyder electra 09 and recently it started breaking paint like crazy. He had an invert halo too hopper and the ref said the inside was dirty so he brought it to my local shop and got it cleaned (it didnt help with the paint breaking). So I let him use my dye rotor  and he tried that on the spyder. All was well but it still broke one paintball out of the 500 that I had that day. Any ideas for a solution?

Eyes are fine. They wont shoot unless there is a paintball inside.

Well Is it chopping or barrel breaking? You could be shooting great but the barrel might just be dirtier than a CheckSlovakian stripper on a sunday evening after a nice cozy dinner and wants to have fun at the local club. But after someone slips a http://www.ansgear.c..._Gun_s/2456.htm

I have an extcy already. This is my "backup" spyder electra that my friend tried today. HE was going to buy it but now he won't cuz it's breaking something. Idk why. And I cannot up the dwell because the spyder board sucks

I don't think there is dwell on a spyder guys. It is a solenoid that just fires to trip the sear (no air goes through this solenoid); letting the spyder mechanism naturally restore it to battery through blowback pressure.

Check your detents. Check your loader settings.

Definitely check the detents , and if your paint is brittle (evil gi 5 star, etc.) then it may just be the paint. Also check to make sure the bore of you barrel isn't extremely small.

Spyders don't have dwell

it's breaking paint because it's a spyder, there's really not much of a way to get around it. If it's your backup just ignore it, as long as your primary works it doesn't matter

Your hopper could have too high of a torque setting

Most likely your bore size is too small is its breaks but if its chops. LUBE THAT THIRSTY GIRL! the bolt may be cycling too fast and just clipping and then goes a chain. If not that get better paint thats perfectly round and try. If not throw it into a lake and forget about it (dont do that)
