What does an SLP reg do? and what benefits does it have vs a normal tank?

SLP stands for Super Low Pressure, and is a tank regulator made by Ninja. It is a fixed output of about 275 psi, +- 25 psi. It does nothing special that any other tank reg at any other standard pressure can't do. The next level of pressure is the LP (low pressure) output from a Ninja reg, which is around 450 psi. There is the myth of using SLP regs to increase efficiency, which is not the case. Efficiency will remain the same for different output pressures of the tank.
Some guns recommend the use of lower pressure tanks to avoid stressing the seals between transfer points, especially on macroless guns like the G6r. Other than that, there is no benefit to an SLP reg over a standard Ninja adjustable reg.
