What is the process of anodizing? I'm not looking for instructions, but what does it do? Long story short, if you have a marker that has a few scratches, nothing major, could you anodize/paint it to cover those scratches?

Anodizing can change the color of the surface of the metal, but it doesn't actually change the shape of the surface, so any scratches will still be there, they'll just all be the same color as the gun.

Oh alright, thanks! Do you know what it costs for a good anodizing job?

Base estimates are around $125-150 for a simple, solid color or two on the whole gun.
