Under $90, I like a Pinokio much better than a Halo or Invert Too.  Getting a used Rotor or Z2 in good condition may be possible with your budget.

Pretty much all forcefeeds will keep up with the Mini, no problem. Nokios, Halo Too's, Rotor's all great and can be had within your budget. May have to look a bit harder for a Rotor though. Never count out older Viewloaders though. VLocities and VLocity JR's are great.

I like the halo too. I sold my rotor and bought one. Never looked back.

I agree. And I did own a Vlocity for some time as well. While it worked quite well (especially for the price), the shells were not much better than the lousy Halos ones

Halo, or if you want to bump it up a bit, a scion.

used: rotor, z2

new: scion, pinokio dont get a halo as the scions are better than the halos. essentially scions are z2s in halo shells.

You can get a Halo or even better, a Prophecy V2 for under $60 EASILY and they both shit on the V-Max.

Yeah, when I got my VL JR, the shell was shot. But thankfully, Ans was clearancing out their Dynasty shells for 2.95 each, so was able to upgrade cheaply. The aftermarket shells are far superior to the stock.

Bullshit.  I have used the hell out of the two of mine. Never had I had an issue other than losing a battery cover. I have never seen anyone else with an issue on one either.

Conveniently, you have omitted what your issue was.

In what way do either of those shit on the V-max?  The V-Max is fine, and will hold slightly more paint than either a prophecy or halo.  It's a good choice in the price range, especially if you're purchasing new and will get the front clip included.  Nothing really wrong with a prophecy, but a halo is inferior in almost every way except excessively unnecessary feed rate.

The Halo actually feeds paint above 12 BPS not to mention the gearbox won't completely shit out on you like two VMaxs I've seen.

Vmax 1's at least, are junk. Their best case feed rates are poor, the paddles don't feed consistently enough, and the shell isn't really ramped properly to feed paint towards the feed mechanism.

I do hear this a lot, but I've not had any of those problems with mine.  The ramped shell is the most perplexing - I heard Sticktodrum say this but mine is clearly ramped and the feeder inclined unlike his.

If you're looking into getting something brand new get a Pinokio or a Halo Too.  The only problem I have with the Halo Too is that if it is shot too many times the loader will break, but that was for me when I had one.  If it doesn't mess up any electronics you can buy a new shell, which isn't that bad, $10-$15.  If you don't mind buying used then a Dye Rotor, Empire Prophecy Z2, or Virtue Spire would be fine.

I currently have the pinokio hopper IT IS AMAZING not one jam. You can't hear an electric sound whenever you shoot like the shitty vmax. PINOKIO FOR THE WIN

(Have not tried the empire scion. could be a good option)

a used rotor will serve you well, basically everything people have recommended here is really good, just avoid the vmax at all costs.

What makes you want the Rotor over the Z2?. My friend just ditched his Rotor due to jamming. He was always trying to justify it, but in the end when it jammed on him during a tournament when everyone else who was using a Spire or a Prophecy didn't jam, he gave up on it and switched to a Spire (still wouldn't acknowledge the Prophecy in his pride; never even tried it).

I would go for a Smoke Prophecy V2 with both a regular lid and a speedfeed. That's by far the best bang for the buck, which should run you about $50-60 used, and the only drawback compared to the Z2 is the more fragile shells, which really aren't that fragile (see Video of Simon taking a hammer to them for evidence).

The only rotor jams I see are from swollen paint. That can effect any loader.

1st pick: pinokio
2nd: spyder fasta 18v/9v (would prefer 18v)
3rd: probably a halo too

If u really want one under $90 get the fasta 18v/9v brand new.

I really like my V-Max. I put a Pinokio prop in mine, and it feeds PSP 12.5 just fine. Without the prop you might have some inconsistency with feeding. The lid is kind of flimsy, but when mine broke Valken sent me a new one for free. Battery life is great too as long as you don't leave your batteries in for long periods of time.

Here's a thread on $30 V-Maxes: http://www.techpb.co...0/#entry3294941

I just bought a rotor for 80 with 2 cases through it. Try to find someone selling one at your local field. I'd go halo too new, rotor used. But as Wolfe said, any force feed loader will load paintballs into your mini.
