Did a forum search and didn't see anything browsing..

I am getting tired of not being able to put my paint past the leaves in some local woods. The GoG eNMEy stock barrel is too short for my needs, and I want to bump it up to a 12-14".

So for the price, I was looking around and saw ANS has a Stiffi 12" One Piece CF for 30$. Now I am used to seeing the threading for most SP and GoG as "Ion Threaded" but am aware of SFT/Shocker threads. I believe one is not the other, so before I go spending monies, is the Shocker threaded listed, SFT or Ion?

ANS live chat is offline, since it is Sunday..

I wish you had provided a link. But anyways, if it says Shocker, Shocker SFT, or SFT don't buy it. The threading is different. Shocker NXT is Ion threaded but they wouldn't list it as that nowadays.

Take your $30 and buy a CP one piece instead.

That's what throws me off, is the whole "Shocker" threaded.

Also, check your velocity. Because that's the only thing that will increase range, not a new barrel.

This is not going to be Ion threaded.

It is a matter of pushing the barrel through palm frawns / leaves and not splattering paint within inches of the exit of barrel. The 8" is just too short for what I want/need.

That's what I was thinking, wanted conformation, thanks. I guess I'll look into other barrels <40$. That CP has got a funky tip on it, lol.

Some other possibilities I found on ANSgear:

$20 - Proto one piece barrels in dust red, blue or clear: http://www.ansgear.c...roto barrel ion

$25 - Smart Parts Linear barrel in dust black: http://www.ansgear.c...ackion14blk.htm

$35 - Gog Inline barrel in dust black: http://www.ansgear.c...nebarrelion.htm

This. Thank you. Though I don't care for the idea of a rifled barrel, it should do exactly what I need it to for a good buck.

I'm a lil' surprised that there's still SP stuff "new" around. lol

Yeah, it'll be pretty much the exact same as a non-rifled barrel, and while I don't like rifling myself, I figured I'd list it as well since it's cheap.
