I am buying a 2011 PMR proto rail and want to know what reasonably priced hopper would go well with it?

Basically any decent force-fed hopper will work well. Are you willing to look at used hoppers, or do you want to stick with new products?

New

  • Pinokio
  • Fasta (don't bother with the LCD version)
  • Scion
  • Halo Too
  • V-max 2

Used

  1. Rotor (my favorite)
  2. Prophecy Z2
  3. Prophecy V2 (older than the Z2, but also cheaper, and works just as well)

New? Scion or Pinkio
Used? Any high end one you can find. Z2's I recommend.

I swear by the rotor, like $100 used. Will basically work if you put decent not stuck together paint.

Yep, best bet is a used Rotor. But the Vlocity and Vlocity JR are good too. I'm also rather impressed by the Spyder Fasta I bought my son for Christmas.

I'd look at a used V1 or V2 prophecy. The can be found for about $50, and are great loaders.

This, or a used rotor if you want to spend more. Those would be my top two choices.
