I was practicing my snap shooting last night( my back yard has flood lights) and i shot a couple ropes. Then i noticed balls started going odd ways like directly left and right. Once I let off the trigger it stoped. What happened and can i fix it? Also it misfired once or twice, what also causes that?

My set-up: PE Etha, Empire 68/4500, Halo V35 with rip drive

my barrell and breach were clean. Although my eyes were infact off because whenever I try to use my eyes it only shoots like 1bps instead of the 12.5 my field wants. I don't know what im doing wrong programming wise but I can never get it to shoot 12.5bps with my eyes on. Only with my eyes off.

Make sure the eyes and not just the barrel/breach are clean. If you've been playing around with your board settings, return them to stock/default. Then just increase your rate of fire. See if this helps

my eyes could have been a little dirty, I recently reset my board. I think i'm doing something wrong with my dwell and debounce. I don't understand them at all. So I don't really mess with them when I program.

getting it running on factory stock settings.

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

will that help it shoot fastee with my eyes on or have I just messed something up programming it that keeps it from shooting 12.5?

if you accidentally changed the parameters on any of the modes it will reset them back to the way they were programmed from eclipse
so yes it should make your marker shoot faster with the eyes on

Then you should know what board settimg controls ROF with eyes on amd to clean your eyes. Check both those things and make sure the eyes are actually functioning.

Clean your gun after every weekend of play.  If you are using the stock barrel that could also be a problem too.  The bore is a .693 which for most paint is really big.  Maybe get a bore size kit, you can find them for $75 right now, which is a really good price.

I feel like it may have been the paint. Empire Premium has been pretty good for me for years, however I have had cases where the paint, either due to improper storage or otherwise, had dimples in a ball or so, and the paint would curve left or right.

I don't play very much so my marker is always clean. I also will take off the old grease and regrease it when sits for awhile.

I have a feeling that could be it. My paint sits in a big stand up chest( like off of narina:p). Maybe some of it was dimpled.

You are obviously new here, prepare your anus for the rape that is about to ensue.

Accuracy and barrels do not work well in a sentence in PB unless it is ACCURACY DOES NOT IMPROVE OVER A BARREL UPGRADE.

When you shoot a paintball through a barrel and there is a lot of wiggle room the paintball is already flying crazy every where in the barrel and if you under bore paint, maybe .675, it will break the paint in the barrel, so that effects the accuracy.

No to the first part, and the second part depends on the size of the paint. Overboring or underboring has no effect on accuracy. A .675 is only too small if the paint is larger than like .683.

And dropping a woman in a lake to see if she floats shows if shes a witch... :dodgy:

Underboring can actually REDUCE barrel breaks if you do it correctly.

Bullshit dont listen to these Plebs you all know getting the carbon fiber, platinum plated, super ultralite, insanity, freak barrel system to the most extreme, with a special awesome Alien Sweep bolt will make your gun so much more accurate and awesome.

To the OP Remove your eye covers, clean off your eyes and the holes in the body with a slightly damp q tip. then replace the eyes and ensure that the detents are in place and put the eye covers back on.

Then set the board back to factory settings.

Paint was most likely dimpled as hell all I shoot is marbz and they make the grass grow green. Buy fresh marbz and slay your enemies.

Are there even any bolts that will fit the etha that will infact help the marker not hender it? I never though to clean my eye holes! Thanks

The only upgrades I would ever go for are:

A better trigger if the stock one isn't to my liking

an on/off ASA with macroline coming from the center if the stock one has macroline coming from the side

a 14" barrel if the stock barrel is 11" or shorter (for bunker manipulation and better pointing. This doesn't improve accuracy)

Everything else is not worth it (unless you own an under-engineered marker like a shocker), and eventually the industry will catch up on these features like they did with electronic boards and feednecks.

While I love me some shockers, the stock designs aren't very optimized. Lots of room for improvement.
