So I'm fairly new to paintball and I am interested in getting knee and elbow pads, but I'm unsure of what size to get.  I'm 5'7, 180 pounds and have and average/athletic build.  I think medium should do it for me, anybody else have a different suggestion? Thanks.

Your best bet is to check out your local pro shop. Try on what they have in stock and even chat with the local players. Most players will let you try on anything just by asking.

I agree with Wolfe here, which is to try at a local shop or field. I'm around the same build (5'9 170) and have the medium elbow pads, but they are a bit rough when taking off because they're still not broken in. We'll I have the Empire arm guards which cover the fore arm and come to the elbow http://www.ansgear.c...ads_s/1751.html

Most brands have sizing guides on their website. If you are unable to try them on at a store then measuring yourself is the next best thing.
