Hey guys I was using my dm12 and i noticed that the back was getting hot were the back plastic is cut so you can see the bolt they only happens when i fire more than 15 bps i thought that this might be a lack of lube but that is not the case so and suggestions or is this completely normal haha thanks.

Ive had the same thing happen with spools when shooting off old paint at high rates of fire. I think its normal and is either from friction or chamges in pressure inside the bolt system creating heat.

I thought the same thing about friction well i wonder if it will ever bend the bolt or the piston from the heat

I wouldn't worry about it bending.

Heat alone won't bend something like that, unless there's a high enough differential to warp parts, however that is way way higher than it could ever get from just friction an/or pressure changes.

My 2009 Impulse valve core gets really hot whenever I shoot it for an extended period of time, it just happens to some guns.

Do you think there is anyway to fix the heating or just leave it as is
