I have a v3 rotor and have been using it for about 3 months now. Everything was fine until it started feeding like 10bps. my ROF was way down because of this. I put new batteries in, and I made sure my gun was set to 13bps. For some reason it's just not feeding as fast as it was. Any Ideas???

Is everything clean? No paint or anything gunked up in the gears? Does a drop test seem like normal speed, or is it still sluggish?

I could be dirty. Tear it down to it's base components and clean everything thoroughly and reassemble. If not, could be the motor dying.

Are your gun's eyes clean and functioning properly? Fresh battery in the gun?

Yeah I mean I'm using a PM8, the eyes are perfectly clean. and I just tore it down. Its pretty damn clean the drop test seems a little slower, but not that noticeable of a difference. What can I do if the motor is dying? And what are the two allen screws in the back?

Make sure the big silver screw is sitting flush with the body of the motor.

Also make sure your eyes are actually on and functioning. Try shooting with and without something in the breach.

Was it cold out? I've had a similar problem before I thought it was the rotor but it was that it was too cold for my lpr setting, causing the bolt to move slowly and not always return all the way. I just turned it up a half turn and had no problem

I don't think the motor is dying, but if it is then I would send it to dye.

Were the batteries Duracell or energizer? if not then i would try using one of them.

anything paintball related needs high quality batteries, not just new cheap ones.

PM8? I had one, shoot the gun with eyes off, if it shoots faster then make sure the eye ribbon cables aren't crimped. If that doesn't help take the motor itself out and check if it has any inconsistencies in sound, rotors tend to sound like blenders when they are functioning right.

Yeah it sounds like a blender. I took it apart and reassembled it. and now a drop test is doing better. If I continue having issues I'll send it into dye. And Duracell btw
