Alright so my Razer headset crapped out on me, again, and is out of warranty so im SoL.  I'm looking at getting another gaming headset and want some help on it.

I would prefer a 7.1, would settle for a 5.1, price range 200 max, no preference between wired vs wireless.  My motherboard has bult-in bluetooth so all of the headsets that I have listed, or you suggest, I will be able to us on PC via bluetooth.  I have a list that you can choose from, if you don't like any of them add your on in your post.

Turtle Beach Call of Duty: MW3 Ear Force Delta: Limited Edition

Xbox 360 Ear Force XP500 Programmable Wireless Headset

Ear Force PX5 Programmable Wireless 7.1

ASTRO Gaming A30

7.1 or 5.1 on a headset is kinda moot IMO, only reason being it's falsified sound reproduction. And out of the one's you listed, I'd advise wired all the way, only reason being it will cut down on the latency if you're using  voice chat programs a lot.

Here are some of my suggestions though:

Sennheiser PC 350's - IMO they make some of the best neutral tone headphones, as well, their highly regarded for the microphones.

Steel Series Sibera V2's - I own the predecessor of these, and they've done me quite well for the 2 years I've owned them.

Logitech G35's - For if you must have 7.1. I've had great success with logitech anything in the past 7 years. Hell, my mouse and keyboard are 4 years old and still going strong. I had one of their headsets and broke the headband because I stepped on it by accident, but it was a fantastic headset.

I've played with Astros and turtle beaches and I like them both.

+1 on steelseries

:tdn: on Turtle beach

Turtle beaches quality have gone down so I stoped buying them. I currently use the SteelSeries 7xb and I could not be happier. I used this headset for my 360 and have been using the same pair for 2 years for PC now.

That's why I loved the Razer Tiamat 7.1, because it felt like actual surround sound, not fake digital stuff, and it was wired.

I would like to keep it wired as much as possible, even though I hate cords, I just have a feeling if I get a wireless there is going to be a slight delay that will bug the hell out of me.  I'll definitely check on the ones you guys have listed.

Also I keep hearing people refer that steelseries siberia, is it really that good?

I notice ZERO lag with my headset and if there is any then it is too fast for me to hear. The only thing I do not like about the 7xb is that there is a mic on the side which is useless because this headset was optimized for xbobx 360 but I sill play steam games and blast music with them.

They're pretty amazing price-for-performance IMO. I'd highly recommend them.
