hey so im looking at a new gun and these are the three options ive come across. My budget is 500 and i dont want to go over. if i go with the a5 i will be able to get upgrades like barrel, squishy paddles,  harness pods etc. the same goes for fenix but different upgrades and if i get the rail i will have just the rail. I am getting all of them in packages and i have about 400 at the moment but i could get to 500 and get a rail with a profelx and invert too hopper. I bought a gun used and had many problems so im looking new. any other options would be great thanks.

P.S. i could get a mini package for around 570 to 600 new is it worth it to break my budget.

"Upgrades", especially for a Tippmann or Spyder are basically useless. Check put the Gog eXTCy.

Make sure you get a good mask and compressed aor tank first.

Get an extcy. They're on sale for 200 on ansgear. That leaves 300 for a mask, hopper and tank. You could get the halo too, a ninja 68/4500, and whatever mask you want. The mask is the most important so don't be afraid to spend a little more for the mask than you planned.

Second that! Best gun for 200$ out there

I would reconsider getting a used gun. You could pick up a very high end used gun for $200-400 easy.

If you're going new though, out of those choice it would be the Rail. However, in that price range you can also look at a new MacDev Drone DX or a Planet Eclipse ETek 4.

New? I would agree and go with the eXTCy. Upgrades on both of the markers you mentioned wont do much. Many on the A5 will actually hinder you more. You can get barrels on any marker, but they don't really effect accuracy. To top it off, the A5 is a 98 custom with the forced off set football of a hopper, and the fenix is a jackhammer in comparison to the eXTCy. the eXTCy is much smoother and comes with much more features.

First of all what gear do you have currently? harness, tank, mask, hopper, and marker. I know your budget is $500 but usually you want to focus on your other gear, and your marker comes last. Given that I would assume your marker budget is around $350, and at the price I would suggest looking into one of the used high-end markers such as a used dm (I suggest dm9 and up), pm8, macdev droid, fep Quest, boblong guns (marq, vice, protege, etc.), allien guns (independence and invasion), and used egos.

Thanks for the help so far!! I'm looking at these guns because they sell them at my local store but I think there is a store that sells extcy for around 200 and then I would get a invert too looking at pro flex, empire events or proto axis pro and prob a 48/3000 guardian or ninja. Keep up the comments and if there is anything I should change feel free to tell me

So I did some scoping around in my area and found that there is a rail package for 370 with the gun a 48/3000 empire hpa tank and a halo too hopper so that leaves about 100 for a mask because of tax and the extcy is 270 without a package at the same store. This gun will be used as a recball gun and I hope to go once every weekend and possibly get more in to the sport

Also I live in canada so idk if ansgear delivers here

If you want to buy new you can't go wrong with either marker, so I would suggest you see if you could try them out or at least hold them in your hands and see which one you like better, as far as gear goes I would suggest going for a ninja 68 4500 instead of a 3000 tank, as you're going to want to upgrade your tank in the future anyways, so you mine as well spend a little more if you can and go for a 4500, I would then suggest you try out masks at your local shop and see which one you like best, and than get the halo b or invert too loader, both are great loaders, so just get whichever one your shop carries. But if you can't afford the 4500, a 3000 tank should be fine. But you may want to look into buying used, because you can find extremely good used markers at that price range.

Stay with ninja. With masks, try them all on. I would recommend profilers or the pro axis over the proflex, but the proflex isn't a bad mask by any means.

Thanks so I'm going to be going to a store around this weekend or next weekend to try on some masks and look at the guns. I don't have the budget to afford a 65/4000 just yet so I'm going to stick with a 48/3000 and there is free hpa fills right at the waiting are at my field. Any extra input would be great and does anyone know if ansgear delivers to canada cuz I don't think they do. Also do I need an electric hopper I would most likely be shooting semi and should a go with proto primo or halo too

Try to get a guerrilla pro 48/3000 they have the same shape as the 45s but they are aluminumn. As far as gun, rail or extcy should be fine, a used gun would be my choice but its up to you. Masks try them all on as people said, and a little later down the road, you are going to want to get pads, pants and a pod pack
If you are under 18 and pay for your gear put this in your sig

If you want to order online in Canada order from a Canadian site..Paintballgear.ca  Onlinepaintball.ca Buypbl.com  Battlefieldpb.com. The Extcy is really good but If you dont need an electro the Enmey is an awesome shooter too

Any of the empire loaders I'd go with for the enmey. The halo works fine, a scion is great, and the prophecy is fantastic and pretty light. I've owned all three, recently getting the prophecy as a christmas present to myself, and they all work great. Splurge as much as you can, or go used locally/over the forums.

The z2 is great with the eNMEy because it's hella light and incredibly small and sleek in profile.
The setup I'm using is really light, and has been working excellently for rec play:
Disruptive 68/4500
Empire Prophecy z2
Deadlywinds Null barrel
GoG eNMEy.

This is all really helpful so right now in my budget is to either get the rail since it's in a package or the enemy and buy everything sepretly what do you guys think. The rail comes with empire 48/3000 and halo too so I can't change that but I could change the tank and hopper if I get the enemy

Id say go with the 48 the 62 would just be super heavy and longer too. but i would say ninja 48/3000, Enmey, halo too or something better, and a really good mask..Nothing wrong with the rail package either but you'll have extra money to spend for better gear(mask/hopper) going with enmey

I really reccomend a rail over xtc but a primo loader wont cut it. Go with the xtc package b/c of the tank and hopper. Its a better deal.

Meh
