What is so bad about the Etha, why does everyone always complain about it.  I've never shot it so I don't know

Poor shot quality amd efficiency for the price. For just a little more cash you could get an Axe or Drone. And for cheaper there are the eXTCy and Proton.

The shot quality is horrid. Weird vibration reverberating through the gun, and it was never even that smooth of a gun to begin with. There are better choices slightly above its price point and at its price point, even under it.

The only experience I had with one had too much fsdo issues, but would I shoot one over a mini? Yes I would if you can get one with no fsdo issues for $200-230

I was going to buy one and then I got a chance to shoot it at my local field. Some kid got it for xmas and was showing everyone at the field his new gun so he let me shoot it. It felt kind of cheap with the grip, dont like the feel at all, but thats just my personal preference. The shot had a strange vibration to it and it just wasnt pleasurable to shoot.

Yeah, buddy just bought one.  Seemed cheap in the hands.  in the feeling and the on/off ASA is stupidly cheap.

The marker works.  My friend really likes his as the AXE/MINI ergo's weren't for him.

It's the single shot that has a little funny feeling.  It's not horrid, or at least his wasn't.

The Asa is better than any planet asa before the ego 10, and geo2... Sure it could use a metal cap but it's still a solid asa

The asa on the etha is much better than the asa that was on my etek 2 for sure. The etha is a gun that will do the job for sure. Its not unable to perform when needed it just felt cheap in the hands and when shooting it. If I didnt find a new axe for $340 I would have bought an etha most likely, or try to find a used gun around that price.

It works well enough for sure, plus you really only use it twice a day.  Not a deal breaker by any stretch but when compared to my G4 or Axe a screw on/off seems cheap and old school.

I wouldn't let that one factor determine weather or not I bought one.

I almost prefer a twist over a pops... But that's probably me

The POPS is great until the ratchet or detent that keeps it engaged wears down and it starts disengaging when you dive or bump it.

Playdoh, if my new Ego wasn't this weird color scheme of silver/teal I probably would switch out the pops for the oops 2 on my midnight etek4

You know I've held and shot an etha and I don't get this low quality cheap feel people are talking about. Yes it is a more low to mid range marker but it is quality. The etha is a bit, weird but I think it's a great gun for 350 bucks. You get what you pay for.

Meh

It doesn't hold weird. Some might say it feels funny because of all the composite, but did you actually shoot it? That shot quality is pretty gross.
