I was looking into buying a new gun and have narrowed it down to these two choices. Since I'm having trouble deciding between the two currently I was wondering what other maybe more experienced paintballers thought.

Have you looked into any other markers by chance? Have you gotten to hold any of them as well?
Out of those two, I can't stand the loud kickyness of the etek, and prefer the rail's shot.

Out of these two Id take the Etek but Id take a Macdev Drone or Empire Axe over either IF I wasnt buying a used marker.

the rail is really comfortable in the hands and has a smooth quiet shot

the etek has better efficiency but feels really fat in your hands and is very loud and kicky

for the price you could probably find a used high end like a g6r or maybe ego11 or an older dm like 10 or 11

"It costs me more than $3,000 to play paintball every year, therefore I'd get a used highend for around $300- $600 and use the rest towards paint, gas, food, hotel costs, alcohol, and cheap hookers." SOUP on March 31, 2014

Out of these two alone I would go Etek but in that price range I think there are better options

If these you  are dead set on these i go with the Reflex rail it has a smoother shoot and a nicer grip, etek may be more air efficent but air is in moste feilds included in play fee, but all up to you go to a store and ask to hold em or if you are at a feild try to get a chance to test em out

Reflex - Softer, smoother, more comfortable in the hands, more quiet, easier to program

Etek - more reliable, more efficient, easier matinence

Chelsea Football Club - St.Louis Rams - Tampa Bay Rays - Florida Panthers - Miami Heat

Tampa Bay Damage - Los Angeles Ironmen

I'd say go for the Etek, people are saying it is uncomfortable but personally I think it feels great. The noise and kick aren't bad plus it has great accuracy with the standard barrel.

No difference in accuracy with any barrel or marker. And have you shot any other markers? The etek is a jackhammer compared to an axe or drone.
