Today was the coldest day since who knows when, at minus 22 degrees Fahrenheit in the Denver metro area. I don't need your crap about minus 22 not being that bad, it's frickin cold. Oh yeah, & the roads. The road is a cold hell on ice. Literally. People cannot drive in a straight line for more than 1,000 feet without hitting something. This cold also makes it impossible to go paintballing at any of the decent fields in the area, making me resort to having to go to APC indoor, which, for those of you have been there, know it sucks. The games are poorly reffed, & the fields are cleaned twice a year at the most. Granted, they're building an airsoft field in the same vicinity right now, but the field floors are literally so heavily coated in paint, if you get running you slide for at least 20 feet, & your shoes are never meant to be worn again. Besides that, school is miserable for those of us that walk. When we get there, the assholes we refer to as, " teachers" think that anyone wearing a hat is a felon of some sort. Within seconds of me entering the building, there is a teacher so far up my ass he could lick my intestines about me not taking off my hat. That's about it.

In short, cold sucks. I miss L.A.

It was -40c here last night Its not fun when its fucking cold

Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

If it's not that cold do a lap around your neighborhood in nothing but your underwear. No? What's that? Too cold? That's what I thought.

Summer is boring, rain and snow are more interesting. If you lived in some place where it were 40C every day you'd get tired of it pretty quickly.

This winter can't fucking decide what it is. It's too warm to be a real winter (-5 to +5 in one day) and it's too cold to be spring or summer.
It's just like fall but a little colder and with snow. And who fucking likes a Norwegian fall? No one, it's just rain and fog for a month or two. I'd rather have snow, -10 and nice weather than this crap.

Sounds like Seattle between October and April...except that we rarely get snow...

op needs to go to loveland or abay. You are in a place where people would sacrafice a ton for where you live. Skiing and snowboarding is epic in colorado and you could pick up a snowmobile.

Its not cold until you get frostbite which I got every year while working in maine. -50F windchill right infront of mount washington which is home to 200+mph 320kp/h winds. The west has it easy.
