Alright. So, I've got this Idea.

In this video, Mike talks about loosening up the bolt spring, going low psi and using the asa to 'chron for a wonderful feeling Axe.

So, with the Axe's taste for low pressure air, could I technically purchase a cheap $50 Ninja 48/3000 with adj reg, switch the pressure flow to 400, and essentially get some pretty decent efficiency?

That other $100-$120 could go towards the Lurker Axe package;;; etc....

And as always, an immense amount of midwest love; and a 90's-early 2000's female for your consideration into this topic.

Nope. Lowering the tank output won't do anything.

Edit: Buying a carbon fiber tank is a much better investment than some upgrades.

Also buying a used Axe and a used tank will save you money

Agreed, it won't make a difference because the hpr in the gun is actually setting the pressure used for shooting, as whatever pressure your hpr is set at, your gun will be set at that pressure and the input pressure from the tank won't have any affect on that unless its lower than the operating pressure of the hpr. If that's the case your gun won't shoot to the set fps that your hpr was set at previously. So basically the adjustable reg won't help at all with efficiency, just some macro line less guns require low pressure to avoid potential leaks (this is not the case with the axe).
