Want to know what kind of regs I should be looking at. What makes a reg better for a pump versus an electro (if anything)? Also any advice on dovetail on/off asas, unless they are all basically the same.

Nothing makes a reg better for pump or electro. Any decent quality reg will be fine as long as it can output the necessary OP of the gun. You'll obviously want a reg that is consistent, however there aren't really any standard regulators that are actually bad, pretty much anything you can buy will be as consistent as you need.
As for the ASAs, it comes down to whether you want the macroline coming out the front, or if you don't care that it comes out the side. My favorite dovetail ASA is the Bob Long Camdrive, because it's an on/off with the macro out the front. The Dye UL Airport is also nice in that respect, but it's 150% more expensive than the Camdrive, and doesn't look as good IMO.

I like The Kp a lot. However, they can be money pits. Just be weary about how much you're sinking in to it. That being said, when I sold mine it had:
Lurker barrel, Karni reg, single trigger, Azodin on off, 13/3000 ninja tank, and App 50 hopper. It is a lovely shooter. A little tinkering can get rid of the fart almost completely. My only complaint is that it is just a naturally loud gun. No way to fix that I think. After that I went to a CCM S5 (better in every regard but weight) and now a CCI Phantom.
