I've been wanting to get a decent barrel/helmet cam for some time. However, I can't be spending upwards of 200-300.00 for a Contour or Go. What are some decent, yet inexpensive cams on the market?

Replay R7 720

For cameras it isnt really worth going cheap. Kinda like buying a cheap mask... youre just gonna end up buying a more expensive one (so spending more total) once you realize it doesnt do the job well at all.

^This, you can find really nice GoPros with all the attachments you could ever desire for $100 sometimes. Just gotta look!

Watch this video, its kinda like a fake go pro but, its stil a quality camera. They guy who reviews it is VERY in depth and knows his share of stuff about cameras. if he says something is good, its almost guaranteed its going to be good.

I have a Contour ROAM 1 (I put the "1" so that you know its the original model) and it is great for paintball. You can get a nummech barrel mount for it for $27 here: http://www.nummech.c...erabarrel.html (If you do buy that mount make sure to choose "Contour rail attachment in the options box). If you want to mount the ROAM 1 to a mask it is easy to do and you can buy the ROAM 1 for less than the price you talked about (about $150). I HIGHLY recommend the ROAM 1 because it shoots great, clear, wide angle footage and it is very simple to use. If you do buy one and use it for paintball, I also recommend that you buy the lens shield for it from nummech.

Hope this helps!
