I'm looking for overall looks, grip, and protection. Which one of these tank covers would be best for me?

Exalt tank covers are hard to put on.

I'm mainly worried about protection of the tank - even though scratches don't usually affect the safety or performance of the tank, I'd rather avoid the possibility of my tank getting scratched.

If you want to completely avoid getting any scratches, get a Dye Rhino cover. My 68ci has one, and it still looks brand new after about 4 years. My 77ci has an Exalt tank butt on it, and those are great if you want some extra grip on the back. I avoid grip tape, because it looks like shit to me.

I am mainly deciding between the Dye Rhino and the Exalt Tank COVER - I want to keep my tank safe and I like the look of the Rhino but I like the sleekness of the Exalt.

Man... its a tank cover. Dont overthink it. There are people here who use Dura tanks here that have nearly ALL the colored coating worn off and strips of dirty yellowed grip tape on the back. Any tank cover you get will be better than that, not that performance is affected either way.

Just get whatever you think looks cool or is cheapest.

Personally I use the Exalt tank butt because its small and doesnt make my tank wider like heavily padded covers. A roll of hockey tape is like $3 though too, but youll need to chamge it every once in a while. A roll lasts a loooong time though.

If you don't want any scratches whatsoever, get the Rhino cover. If you don't really care, get the Exalt. This is really simple stuff.

Hockey tape in an "X" on the butt and you're done.

I like the Dye Rhino Cover, are there any cons to the Rhino?

I use this shitty Empire tank cover I got from a trade awhile back. Anything with compressed foam/cloth and covers your tank does the same  stuff. Its really what looks cooler in your opinion.

It's a tank cover, there is no such thing as pros and cons to one. Here, let me break down every tank cover ever. They grip. Some cover. Some cover more. Done.

Alright thanks - I'm mainly leaning towards the Rhino because I like the looks and protection it provides.
