I would go Axe just because from what I've seen, they're less finicky than the G6rs

I currently own a 2011 G6R and it's the best damn marker I've owned. With that being said, I'm looking to keep this G6R for a long time. So far, my G6R hasn't given me any issues yet but I expect every gun to give me an issue. That's just how I happen to be. Now there are reasons to go for both, they are different guns. If you're looking to resell or trade which ever option you choose rather soon then I'd say pick the Axe considering you can get just about anything for an Axe plus cash. Honestly the best advice I can give you is to shoot them both and which ever one you like better get.

ohhh okay I see. Well then I'd say shoot a G6R, and if you can play a round or two with it. If you still are questioning whether you want a G6R or an Axe pro, get the Axe pro because if you don't have that "ermagerd I want this gun" feeling than your "want" for the G6R will go and If not then you can sell the Axe Pro and get a G6R. I mean there will always be an opportunity to go from one to another. We're paintballers, we're always going to go from gun to gun.

If you like the way the Axe feels Id suggest sticking with it. One of the best values in paintball and still one of my favorite markers overall.
