Hi guys, I was looking at my g6r today and I found a few things. First off, I noticed that the shim stack in the hpr is not blue, but it is silver. I have not aired it up yet because I did not get a chance to fill my tank due to the brutal winter so I don't know if it effects the gun in any way, that's why I'm posting this. I want to know if this by any chance is an issue such as not outputting the correct pressure or something like that. Also, I was trying to remove the upper reg before (don't ask me why, it was a while ago and I don't know what I was thinking) and I kind of egg shaped and damaged the air transfer holes. I know they are only there to transfer the air, but I don't know if there is any chance that there is a specific way these air holes are made to transfer the air in a certain way and this damage will effect the performance. Will these two "issues" effect my marker in any way? If they will, where can I get the replacement parts to fix the issues? Thanks

The shims are fine, and the holes are fine.

You won't know if its outputting the incorrect pressure unless you have a tester or you blow your noid.  Also the extreme cold shouldn't affect the marker if it is aired up inside, its still 70 in most houses.  The upper portion of the reg is not ever meant to be removed although it can be done, however its coated in loctite...  The only way to get a replacement for that part itself would be Bob Long Direct msot likely.

Ok thanks, I was trying to remove it because I was thinking of getting an anodizing done after this season. If it will work fine, that's great. Thanks guys
