Mini. I have heard that the dp's have a lot of probs. can't say from personal experience. You should also look at the mini gs.

A local store sells a few DP markers - kids that have them at the local field seem to struggle with maintaining them properly and keeping them on the field.  Efficiency isn't that great, and I'm not a fan personally of the aesthetics.

On the other hand, I think the mini and now the mini GS are awesome.  The design is great, it's fairly efficient, and there are many potential upgrades along the way to make it even better.  The one catch is making sure it's comfortable for your hands.  If it feels too tight to your grip then you might look elsewhere.

Dangerous power has been getting a bad rap because of the g3 which was ages ago. They have improved the quality and customer service but the g5 does still shoot like a cannon relative to a lot of other markers. Which is probably due to an operating pressure north of 200 p.s.i. That said, if you've got average to smaller hands and you like the ergonomics of the mini, the new one is hard to beat.

I used a mini for about 6 months and loved it! i would recommend the mini to just about anybody. I have heard that DPs are problem guns, but i have no personal experience with them.
