Hi Guys,

I am at the point where I know paintball is something I will do two or three times a year at most. And when I do it woodsball will be the name of the game. I am kicking myself for selling off my trusty 98 as it was ready to go without needing much maintenance.

The Chronus seems to be a nice light and cheap variation of the 98. But I am just wondering if anyone has had any problems with it. I am worried about there being leaking issues with the air through grip. And possible full auto syndrome from the trigger assembly being offset and linked back to the actual trigger that trips the seer.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks

I'd skip the Cronus based on what I've been seeing out of my fields rental fleet of FT-12's. I'd go with a regular 98, or with something else like the GoG eNMEy, the best option at the price point, but it will require a bit more upkeep.

I just checked out a youtube video of a guy partially taking apart the FT-12. He didn't take apart the grip frame/lower portion of the marker. So I didn't see for sure if it's the same as the Chronus but looking at the forward offset of the grip and trigger I'm guessing it's the same inside. What problem's have you seen with the FT-12?

Thanks.

The FT-12's we have at the field leak all the time, and don't ever seem to work.

Ah that's about all I need to know about the Chronus! Thanks for the advice.
