Hey I have my first bob long g6r and I'm new to setting pressures on a marker. I can't seem to find the spot where my marker shoots normal. Balls either roll out the barrel or it shoots at 340 fps. It's with the lp poppet and I set my pressures to 75 on the lpr and 185 on the hpr, any suggestions on whats wrong?

Lurker method of sweetspotting regs.

1: Back out both regs or Zero out both the LPR and HPR to 0psi
2: Raise HPR slightly only to set LPR for cycling
3: Raise LPR to fully cycling ~45psi or so
4: Raise HPR until velocity begins to stop rising as you increase pressure
5: Raise LPR to desired velocity
6: Lower HPR a bit, then raise if necessary... you're trying to find the best HPR setting at the LPR setting you have. This may put your velocity over 300/285
7: Lower LPR slightly to field velocity

With the LP poppit your marker will perform completely different than stock settings.  Like what was said above, you'll have to do a custom tune.

Ok I understand that but it seems like the bolt won't go foward enough to strike the ball properly and I can't get readings from the chrono graph

With stock board settings, what you'll want to do is turn your LPR up from nil until you get a consistent reading over the chrono. It doesn't matter what the HPR is at as long as it's in the ballpark of typical FPS, then once you've reached a consistent shot, use the HPR to chrono the gun to your field's limits.

Your reg or regs are too low, your tank is facked, the schraders are toast (at least I think low velocity is a symptom of that) or a couple other things could be the cause

Using the lurker method you start with your regs at zero.  I'm guessing one or both of them isnt set high enough.

Using the method I got it shooting 290 fps but it kicked worse than my etek 4 which isn't normal. I might just go back to the regular poppet and see if that changes anything
