Hi everyone,

I have a 2011 g6r I want a new board for. The main reason is because I want some modes the stock board doesn't have. Now my question is, which would be a better board?

Virtue redefined board (~$50)

Tadao Ebisu Board (~$125)

I want a board that will last me forever, and never die out. Also, I want the board that is better in terms of efficiency, ease of use, modes, etc.

One thing That makes me really hesitant about getting a virtue board however is the lack of use of 4c eyes (as I mainly play semi and I want those super tight ropes)

Any help is greatly appreciated, and please don't say "don't get a new board" because I am going to get one.

Thanks

Both are good. Make sure it has today's tourney modes. I'd get the tadao because of the eyes function.

Programming is the same difficulty between both boards.

I didnt even think Tadao was in business anymore...

Virtue has a lifetime warranty. Go for it.

Ya that's the problem. The tadao has 4c eye functionality, and virtue is still in business

That's the dilemma!

Unless you have a super bouncy trigger youll never shoot fast enough in semi to notice a difference.

One if the companies isnt in business (or is on life support at least). That should make this a REALLY easy decision considering the Virtue board is also 1/3 the price, while the Tadao is 1/4 the price of your whole MARKER...

For what its worth I dont personally feel there is any need at all for a new board on a G6R. What modes do you want? Didnt you say you play in semi anyway?

Well I play in semi mostly because I don't have 3 round burst. I also kind of want full auto for goofing off in the backyard, plus I want custom ramping to play around with. So really, I only need a new board for 3 shot.

Also I do have a super light trigger, but once again I guess it won't make or break my semi play.

There is no way of getting 3 shot on the g6r board is there?

Restart Thread!

I just got back to my vacation house where I left my marker. I looked at the manual a little closer an realized how stupid it is! It sai the board is equipped with 3 different firing modes, and goes on to say about 4 different modes.

Tried to get it to burst, or "mode 4", but it automatically just switches to made three, which is ramping. So begin this thread over

So.. You are set in to buying the new board, that is ok, it is your hard earned money, just ask the guys at virtue if their board has the psp 3shot and if it has that mode, get it, because IMO, getting a 125 buck board for backyard goof off... Its too much

No, actually I will play on the field with 3 shot, as it's legal for rec at my field. Also, I'm debating the tadao because of the 4c eyes, which I heard help a ton

They really dont...

You would still need to buy 4C eyes as well if you dont have them, so thats at least $165 to have a slightly more consistent rope in semi IF youre shooting fast enough.

Well with the way I set up my trigger, and with my somewhat fat yet quick fingers, I find myself hitting close to 20 bps regularly.

Let's change the question. What is more important, 3 round burst (new virtue board) or consistent streams (same board, but 4c eyes)?

Why not just use the modes you have available now?

Those modes are semi and ramping. Nothing more, nothing less. Semi uncapped and semi capped. I could just use unlimited semi, but that's what I'm asking. Which of the two things listed in the question I asked in my last post will be more beneficial?

I cant imagine a situation where either would posiively (or negatively) affect you in game.
