Here is my setup and i was wondering if you guys could just help by pointing out things bout my gear, anything i should buy, sell, anything you would change. It is very budget minded since i'm fairly new but here it is.

Would $5 ace knee pads do the trick or do i need some specified brand or type.

they buy pe pads, pads are just pads really. As long as they work they're fine...

On how you bought different pads for a different sport? Because volleyball pads work fine for the first couple slides and dives, but if you're going to be doong that a lot, invest in some paintball pads.

I guess you can say that, it's more of we have friendly arguments over football and soccer vs volleyball and track. But i did ask her bout the knee pads.........i wonder what her reaction would be.

I know a bunch of players that prefer volleyball pads. I dont know why theyd be less effective after "the first couple slides..."

No. Those arent designed for running/sliding sports if theyre the ones I think they are and will slide up/down all the time.

i would assume so. i mean slider shorts aren't a ton different from pb ones. just use whatever slider shorts you have and see if they work for you. if they do then just keep using them until they get thrashed.

i would assume so. i mean slider shorts aren't a ton different from pb ones. just use whatever slider shorts you have and see if they work for you. if they do then just keep using them until they get thrashed.

 

Ok thanks, and what about a soft cup or should i just try my luck without like in football? Cause there is no way in hell i'm wearing a hard cup. (and i couldn't find one in xxl anyway  ;) )
