I'm getting a new dangerous power G5. Can you guys please give me some pros and cons about the G5, or recommend a different gun within the same price range.

if i were you i would look at used high end markers. many older model high ends can be found for $350 or less. there are so many choices too when it comes to used high ends too. for example: Used ego 5-9, used dm 3-9, used bob long vices, proteges, marqs, closers, and intimidators. all you have to do is look through the BST here and on other forums and you'll see what I'm talking about.
all of these markers would vastly outperform a g5 for the exact same cost or maybe even less. so seriously consider buying used

I disagree that a used high end is automatically assumed to outperform the G5. There are many shitty high ends, and many good high ends, just like there are shitty and good low end markers.

The G5 is a quite capable gun, and shouldn't be discounted just because of the price tag.

G5 isn't bad.  Like I said in a few other threads just don't run a SHP(super high pressure) HPA tank in you should be fine.  A few people bought SHP tanks that output 1100psi and blew some o-rings.  It can take 850 which is standard no problem.

It's not the most efficient on air but it will well.
