I've played paintball a couple times and I'm enjoying it allot. I have a couple local fields around my house played at one so far bobs paintball. Honestly want to get a gun because the rentals suck and so does their masks. My buddy told me I should get a good mask and get the gun later. My budget is around 350-400. Another thing is I have gigantic hands like 11 1/2 spread from my pinky to my thumb. In the future I would like to play speedball but i currently play woodsball. Also I am also 6.3. I would love to have advise, suggestions, and opinions.

These are what I am considering

Gun- http://www.amazon.co...l/dp/B00488PZ8W

Hopper- halo

Mask- e-vents, grillz, I really liked the eflex

Tank- I really don't know

Thanks

Look at JT proflexes, E-flexes, and events for the mask, try all of them on.

Get some e vents, they are great, get a Ninja Grey Ghost 68/4500 or if you can afford a little more a 77/4500 should fit you a little better, but once again at a cost of money. So lets say you go with the 68, thats $90 + $150 so thats $240 spent so far. That leaves you with $160 with which you should get a loader, lets say a rotor so add another $150 so now you are at $390 spent. Go out with a rental marker and use your stuff instead of the rented gear and it will work wonders on a rental marker. Go out every so often and save up to buy a nice marker. Honestly I would suggest going used. Good masks used can go for $50, Tanks for $100, Good loaders for $100, now you are at $250. You then have $150 to spend on a nice starter marker that you can either save up $100 more and get the rail new, or you could buy a used one for cheaper.

For hands your size, I would STRONGLY recommend a macro-less gun that also doesn't have the lpr sticking out of the front..  I usually don't rave about DP guns but the G5 is going to fit your grip better than anything else in the price range.  Other guns to consider are old bob long protoges or marqs they have large grip frames.

For a loader and tank Id get a used Rotor or Prophecy and a 68/4500 tank that has a Ninja reg on it. Just make sure its within the hydro date.

Mask, soft gear, tank, and Hopper. That's what I suggest over a marker

I loved my rail, but definitely do yourself a favour and get a mask tank and loader first

Either one is great. The PMR is backed by dye, but the eXTCY has more modes and a better barrel. Id go with the eXTCY

I'm not 100% but I thought the Extcy got discontinued so it might be harder or easier to find one.

That's personal preference, as long as you are comfortable and liking the protection it's all good

You can quickly see how this becomes a personal preference thing....

Personally I use and recommend dye arm pads, Empire slider (newest year one), planet Eclipse knee pads, and Empire contact pants.
