Hey guys I got a random question. Which is better a DXS 48/45 stubby or CP 68/45? Cause I am thinking about trading my stubby for the 68/45.

The CP is going to be a little bit heavier. It is also larger so you will have to get used to it.

It's not really size that concerns me cause I used to have a crossfire 68/45. It's just I run out if air fast now, like when I was at FOTR I couldn't finish first match cause I ran out of air with my etek after a hopper and 2 pods. Do you think efficiency will differ much when I get my dm9? Even at the tournament at paradise paintball after a hopper and 2 pods I would have almost empty. My main concern is running out of air.

Well a 48 is a small tank, it's not going to hold much air. Especially when most fields fill to only 3000 psi regardless of what tank you have. The DM9 may give you a little bit better efficiency but it's also a spool valve marker vs your Etek was a poppet so...

I'm pushin towards the 68/45 now. Ok another random question. Some one is trying to sell me a rotor for 145 with the extra capacity shell or 130 without. Would I ever need to use the extra big shell?

No you really won't. You see how fast local tournaments go. You'll never need that much paint.

Dude might as well get the shell and then sell the shell to someone. I kind of wanted to see how much bigger a rotor was with the high capacity attached.

If you get the ANS tank, this is what you get...
http://www.ansgear.c...ns08tank-68.htm

The difference between the SL and the one I have the link to is the one I gave the link to has an easily adjustable reg (adjust from LP to HP) and it comes with a fill cap.

I just looked at the weight, and that thing weighs more than my mini

But I like the ANS tank cause its adjustable so no matter what kind of gun I get or whether it takes HP or LP i can still use the same tank

Well I'm glad you learn something...

The average set up in modern times is going to be about 6lbs...

A little over 2lbs on the gun
A little over 2lbs-3lbs on the tank
A little over a 1lb on the hopper
And some weight for the barrel.

The 48 is 2.07 lbs
The 68 is 2.36 lbs you won't even notice the difference and you will get much more air out of the 68.

And once I do get a new tank, I will get the 68/45 cause thats like the universal tank size, and its actualy a little bit shorter than my 68/3000 that I have now

Ordered another CP barrel thru ANS. Status said it shipped Monday. So it should of been here, it takes three days for mail to get from Cali. I go look at the order and it says under comment "Direct drop through Custom Products" so I guess they just sent the other to CP who is going to ship it?
