Name: Lucas J.
Age: 15
Location: Virginia
Years of Playing Experience: 4
Familiar with IP Board: No, I can learn quickly if I need to
Other message boards moderated: None
What sections would you like to help the TechPB community out with: I would like to help in fixing problems with the website as well as giving advice on different equiptment currently out on the market. Because I am very up to date on that as well as giving advice to begginers because I know exactly what it felt like. It was 2 and a half years ago... but I have caught onto the sport so quickly where I can compete against people who have been playing 7 years.
Have you ever worked at a paintball store, field, national tournaments, etc: I've reffed before at my field before when they were short a couple games. (Not tournaments, but I am familiar with signals)
Have you played in an major events: I've done the Pevs Tournaments Series, I've been to around 4-5 big games.
Any other forums you moderate at: No
Id and Background Check: Sure, Can send copy of birth certificates ect.

I joined this website the day it came out. And I am very attentative to close details on how the site could be more appealing and ways to improve it! I love keeping up to date with new gear when it comes out, and I am pretty good giving advice when it comes to begginers joining paintball in a respectful professional matter, or that's what 0'Im told. I try my best to always be checking this website for the newest updates, questions and discussions to put whatever input I have.
:D I'm not a robot, I have a personality. I like being funny but within reason, as long as it doesnt offend anyone and/or the joke being made is clear.

Ha I laugh everytime I read this thread. Check it out!
http://www.techpb.co...w...c=17751&hl=

However, I can still be proffessional when the time calls for it.
http://www.techpb.co...w...c=42754&hl=

I have/have had 4 pinned topics, one is the Superguide 2008-2009, please check it out! Under paintball chatter, a photography topic that is pinned as well, a Dye Paintball HeadQuarters Review, and a Parents Guide topic Pinned.
Thanks for taking time to review my Moderator App. Have a nice day!

My sig was edited / removed because it was not within the rules. Images used in signatures are to be less then Width of 600px, and height of 160px. Only ONE image is aloud in the signature, and it must be 30k or less. Only 5 lines of text are aloud. No text larger then size 2 is aloud in the signature.

My image was over the 30k AND My text was too big I really am a muppet

im not going to lie, PBN is better then TechPB...for now. But the reason i vote for TechPB is because i love the intention of TechPB. as we all know, PBN was just made for money. TechPB is run by paintballers for paintballers. We understand each other because we dont play this stupid sport, we fuckin live it. What it gives us cant be told in simple words. This thing we call paintball has morphed most of our lives. So why should our webmaster be able to tell us how to try express ourselves in words, when the prick doesnt even play! We need someone who understands why we have to go on a goddamned website everyday just to get paintball out of our system.

I disagree, I want to help. I notice alot of things, problems, ect. with the website that could be fixed such as posting topics, it can be kind of unclear as well as other things. But yes that often happens alot................

This guy is very helpful i've seen him in many forums on techpb and he is always there to help.

Tell you what - you follow the rules for a while then post up again:

since you specifically brought up signatures in your application you may want to look at this part:

"Signatures
Please be aware that Signatures are under the same rules as regular posts. Attacking people in a Signature is also against the rules. No Adult Content. Images used in signatures are to be less then Width of 600px, and height of 160px. Only ONE image is aloud in the signature, and it must be 30k or less. Only 5 lines of text are aloud. No text larger then size 2 is aloud in the signature."

That goes for a pile of you other guys on this thread as well - SIZE 2!

brycelarson:

If the rules are not to have a signature size 3 or more, why don't you try to do something such as send a pm to a root admin, and make it so one can't have a size 3 signature. It is very obvious people have their signatures larger than that. But just make it so its impossible to have a signature like that, rather than having everyone disobeying the rules. If a rule is not enforced, no one will abide by it.

I think he will make a great mod. At his age he could use the little cash you get modding the place. I think that would make a great job for a 14 year old kid that actually knows what he is talking about. He has helped numorous people with choosing markers, hoppers, equipment, and lots of other things....

I vote for him because he is always willing to help, and make things better for our community. Good job Lucas, you have my vote :D ...

Since you link to this thread in your signature, I'd like to say I actually haven't found your post to be informative.

For example, http://www.techpb.co...a...ost&p=95731

You asked for a thread to be closed because you claimed that a new product was identical to an existing product, where in fact they are different, and the differences had already been pointed out earlier in the thread.

Iram,
I don't think you understand my approach to why I said that, I will tell you.
I said it should be closed, and also let me also add that its closed now. It should been closed because it wasn't a new product, but a new revision of one. For example, if you were to go to the store and you said, "Do you have a hyper 3 regulator for (this gun)" They would say yes or no. This product allows them to say yes t oaccomadte diferent styled guns. Thats why I believed it should have been closed, and thats why it was closed Iram. Thank you for your understanding.

Just my opinion.
