So my friends and I play religiously at Paintball Sportsland (they are there nearly every weekend, I'm there roughly twice a month...depends on my funds) and occasionally at Ft. Detrick. I love both places, Sportsland has a bunch of fields and very nice staff and Detrick has made some nice additions to their "urban" field that have balanced it out but I wish they would actually attempt to make people play thier woodsball field.

Outside of these two, what else is in the area that wouldnt be too bad to get to (not more than an hour). I know of Hogback in VA, but have never been.

So, any recommendations...BYOP is always a plus.

OA Paintball in Bowie is another option.

They are BYOP but the prices are not bad at all. About what you would pay at Pev's to pickup a case of mid grade.

Stingers for $45 a case. Also the refs don't suck (pb sportsland) and they get a good amount of people for walk on play.

The refs at PBSL don't really suck. They are pretty fair and big on safety.

Gotta agree with Junkers, the refs at PBSL are actually really good.

Hogback is okay. There scenarios are really unorganized.
OA is good place for woodsball
Pevs is a wonderful place for speedball.

I suggest you tryout PAP in tawney town, its real nice for woodsball and airball and always has a good turnout. its not byop though but paint isnt as exspensive as sportsland
